Gourd Garland - Thanksgiving Craft Idea
I love the colors of Fall, deep rich warm colors that just beckon you to curl up with some cocoa and watch the leaves change. I also love fresh craft ideas that come from the autumn flavored ghourds.

Here is a really neat idea for working with fresh gourds; string them up as garland and hang them wherever. Gourds last a really long time so it will definately get you through the Thanksgiving holiday.
To make one:
You will need miniature gourds, a drill with a fine bit, and twine. Drill a hole through the center of each gourd. Thread twine through an embroidery needle; run it through the holes, knotting it at both sides of each gourd to secure in place. We left 6 inches between gourds. Hang garland from tacks or nails, indoors or outside.
