Let Me Out – Scrapbook Layout
Let Me Out - Scrapbook Layout
submitted by Katrena Goldstein

This is the other layout from my Science and Nature Center visit in Austin. Not only does the center encourage knowledge and discovery of wildlife, but they also save certain animals and try to bring them back to a condition conducive to reintroduction in the wild. These were just a few of the animals we saw there. Most, if not all, were injured at one point and brought to the center to recover. Being a wildlife lover, I had to spend time viewing them and donating funds to support their safety and recovery. I hope you enjoy the pictures here of the owl, hawk, falcon and fox. I really believe the animals themselves stand out in this layout. So I didn’t add a lot of embellishments that would distract away from them. In fact, I chose to use the embellishments to mimic a zoo-sign type of look. I used ribbon and chipboard to make the labels appear as name markers you would see in a zoo. Supplies Used: paper, ribbon, brads, button, alphabet letters.
