Scrapbook Layout - "James"

Scrapbook Layout - "James"

submitted by Katrena Goldstein

If you are a teacher, then you will relate to this layout. Most likely, if you have taught for quite some time, you have had a student pass away. This layout is a tribute to one of mine that died a few years ago. The incident was saddening and hit me very hard. This particular student was special and had changed a lot over time, very much so for the better. Having his life taken away after so much positive change was very distressing. At the time, I even considered leaving the teaching profession, hating the thought of having to go through another student death. But I realized that I should look at the time I spend with my students as special. I was fortunate enough to share that time with him. I know I was part of his life, and he part of mine, for a reason. So I still teach to this day. I know that is what he would want me to do, to move on. Bless you, James. This layout was done using Bazzill cardstock, My Minds Eye letter j, and a quote.
