Family Dinner - Scrapbook Layout

Scrapbook Layout - Family Dinner submitted by Design Team Member Katrena Goldstein

Have you ever had leftover scrapbook supplies (yeah right!). Of course you do! I decided I needed to use them instead of letting them sit in a drawer. So I gathered some of my favorite leftovers (the All My Memories hearts you see in the layout) and put them to use. I found some really great paper to match the rugged brown-red of the wooden heart elements. Some leftover polka-dot paper worked very well with the paper too. I had some pretty velvet green ribbon left from another project. I hope you agree it goes nicely with the greens. Overall, I am very happy with the result. Not only did I get to make a pretty layout, but I also used up some beautiful scraps instead of tossing them or hiding them away somewhere. Supplies used: scrap paper, ribbon, scrap heart elements, white gel pen, paper.
