Scrapbook Layouts "Bling Baby"

"Bling Baby" Layouts submitted by Jayne Loughlin We gave all our design team members theme suggestions for every month. July is "all that glitters and bling" here is what Jayne came up with.

Photo of my eldest Daughter ready for her School leavers Prom.

I’ve used just less than half a 12 x 12" page of patterned paper and stuck it onto a page of matching colored card stock.

Hid joins with RikRak ribbon.

Title was hand cut onto Sugar coated card (glitter card).

Stuck a Matted photo that had corners rounded onto page but left a gap without glue so I could slip in a tab (I placed photo in the middle as there was a bit of pink in the colored paper I wanted to hide.) The tab had hidden journaling on,its great if you don’t like your handwriting!

Embellished with flowers and stuck on gems.

Firstly cut round a photo of youngest Daughter.

Found a patterned paper from Junkitz that had flowers I could cut out singly.

Used a wing rub on and rubbed it onto white card, cut out and coloured some of the wing with glitter pens.stuck it onto back of photo. Stamped and embossed a crown the same way.

Arranged flowers first before sticking onto Bazzill card stock. Found a great Mambi gem title . Added buttons to centre of some flowers doodled on others.

Doodled in gaps and added more gems for extra sparkle.

This is a L/O I did of a tiara I made for my sister in law(to be) wedding , She didn’t know what she wanted but came up with ‘I just want bling’

I firstly glued and glittered chipboard letters (you) and let them dry.

I choose B/W patterned papers as I wanted it to match a B/W photo.

The PP was cut into random blocks corners rounded then arranged and stuck down.

Ribbon strips were stuck above photo.

Other chipboard letters (wanted) were covered with PP and sanded slightly.

I put some of the diamantes I used in the tiara into a little frame.

A Large blossom was added and embellished with a old button I have in my collection.
