An easy and fun craft to make is a jelly bean carrot. For this craft you will need some orange jelly beans, a clear, disposable icing bag, Easter grass and a twist tie or rubber band. Fill the icing bag with the jelly beans. Make sure that you leave enough room at the top so that you can close the bag with the rubber band or twist tie. However, before you close the bag at the top, add some of the grass. Then, you will want to close the bag at the top. Make sure that you get the grass, so that it won't fall out. When you are finished, you can tie a small ribbon around the top of the carrot. You then have a decorative carrot that you can share with family and friends.

Another quick and easy craft is bunny ears. For this craft you will need a white poster board, pink construction paper, scissors, pencil, glue and tape or a stapler. To begin, you will want to cut a 2 inch wide and 24 inch long strip of poster board. Next, you will want to cut two bunny ears out of the poster board. The ears should be approximately 8 ½ by 3 ½. With the pink construction paper, you will want to cut out two smaller bunny ears. Then, glue the pink ears onto the white ears. Next, glue the ears to the inside of the band. You can then decorate the band if you desire. After you have finished decorating the ears, you can then place the band around your child's head and staple the band together. If you have any excess, you simply cut it off. Your child will love wearing his bunny ears around.

Kids love to make cards. A cute Easter card your child can make is a Thumb Bunny Loves You card. For this, you will need a piece of colorful cardstock. Fold the cardstock in half, to form your card. Next, take some white water based paint and paint your child's thumb. Have him place his thumb print on the paper, to form the ears and face of the bunny. Next, you can take a couple of sequins and glue on for the eyes. Black yarn can be added for the whiskers. Then, either you or your child can write the words Thumb Bunny Loves You on the card. As well, let your child decorate the inside of the card. Family and friends will love receiving this card that will be cherished for a lifetime.

Wrapping paper is practically a necessity around the holiday season, and making your own can add a special touch to any gift. Hanukkah wrapping paper is simple and fun to make and you can even get children involved as well. All you need is some plain construction or wrapping paper, finger paint, and two clean hands. Dip two hands into blue paint, and press them onto the wrapping paper. Make sure the thumbs are overlapping, so there will be nine fingers showing on the paper and the thumbs will act as the center candle. After washing the blue paint off, dip a thumb into yellow paint and dab it on top of each candle for a flame. Repeat until the paper has several menorahs on it. Allow the paint to dry, and start wrapping your presents!

Sock snowmen are another great holiday craft idea that children love to do, and then can be used as tree decorations or can be hung up on the wall. You can use different sized socks to make different sized snowmen, but the easiest to start out with is baby socks. Take a plain baby sock, and fill it with plain stuffing or batting. Tie the sock just above the ankle with string, and cut off the excess material. Divide the sock into the body and the head, and tie with a piece of fabric to act as the scarf. To add a cute hat, use a colored sock and tie the ankle closed with string. Cut off the foot part, and roll up the sock to look like a stocking cap. Glue or sew the hat on, and begin decorating. You can use buttons, pipe cleaners, markers, and much more to make your little snowman, so put on your creativity hat!

If you are looking to create a beautiful centerpiece for a holiday dinner party, all you need is some candy canes, a large red or striped candle, and a candle base large enough for your candle. Place the candle inside the base, and hang then candy canes all around the outside. Guests can help themselves to the candy if they wish, making this great centerpiece a candy dish as well.

A Christmas choir makes a great tabletop piece, and can be made out of items you have laying around your home. Use an empty toilet paper roll and paper towel roll, and you can create three singing carolers that can brighten up any room. Cut the paper towel roll into two lengths, and paint each of the three pieces a different color. Use a small oval cut out of construction paper to make a face, and markers or crayons to decorate. Small pieces of sheet music can be attached with glue to add a special touch, and a cut sock can double as a stocking cap that sits right on top of the tube. St. Patrick's Day Shamrock

Cut out two pieces of green felt in the shape of a shamrock. Embroider with backstitch on the inside shamrock in a lighter green embroidery floss (1 strand). Glue

wiggly eyes eyes on the inside shamrock. Backstitch the smile with 1 strand of embroidery floss. Stitch both front and back shamrocks together with the same color green thread as shamrock, leaving an opening at the bottom of the stem if you want to insert a stick.
